If you are a young, adult male, then you no doubt like to hear the pounding bass sound of any music. You may have already installed a subwoofer and a subwoofer enclosure in your vehicle. This subwoofer accepts the low frequency signals that are sent to it by the active crossover; the subwoofer translates the low frequency signal into a pounding, bass sound. Yes indeed, a subwoofer is great, but it fails to insure the delivery of quality sound from high-pitched musical instruments. In order to achieve that, a car owner needs to purchase a car audio tweeter.

Suppose, for example that a car owner plans to take his date for a ride along a river or a lake. Then suppose that this female rider has expressed an interest in listening to a recording of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies” from the Nutcracker. She has said that she especially likes to hear the bell-like sounds that are created by the sound maker.

Subwoofers will not pick-up those bell-like sounds. Only a car audio tweeter is capable of doing that.

Alternatively, suppose that a car owner is also a land owner. Then suppose that the car owner wants to sell one particular piece of land. Perhaps as the car owner shows that land to a client he hopes to play music that contains a rasping gourd or a clear dulcimer sound. Neither of those musical instruments could be adequately reproduced by a car that lacked a car audio tweeter.

So, listed above are two good reasons for purchasing a car audio tweeter. The list could easily be expanded to include other equally-popular musical sounds. For example, the sound of a share drum would become more clear and distinct once the scratching sound had been fed into a car audio tweeter. Any recorded song that contained a whistle could also be heard more distinctly if the whistling sound were separated out by a crossover and then carried by wire into a car audio tweeter.
