In order to truly appreciate a sound system, it has to have the right sounding and working speakers. The responsibility of the speakers is to take the electronic signals that are already on CD’s and then the speaker can “translate” it into the sound that you hear when you listen to your CD player. Speakers are products that are used everyday. When you turn on your TV the sound is coming out from the speakers, when you turn in your computer the sound you hear is from your speakers, even your car has speakers. All these devices use speakers and it shows just how much we do take our speakers for granted. We really do have to take care of them playing music too loud is a sure fire way to blow your speaker and then you will realize just how important they are.

Some people ask the question: why do my speakers vibrate, especially at only half volume. Well if we are talking about a loudspeaker, which are used for most of our own modern day appliances then you have to know that at the very center of a speaker there is a small voice coil. This voice coil is actually a magnet which then has many windings of copper wire. So when the sound which is usually electrical sound from an amplifier flies through this copper wire it then makes the magnets move, this moving magnet then actually causes the speaker itself to vibrate.

If you are unsure as to why your speaker vibrates at half volume then it could be something to do with the actual set-up of the speakers and maybe even your subwoofer (if you have one). All these little things can cause your speakers to act sometimes different to how they should. When your speakers vibrate that is not a bad thing, they are not breaking it is the sound. When the sound comes through especially at loud music the speaker will vibrate more violently. Even at half volume speakers vibrate, so you just have to remember that there is nothing wrong with your speakers they just have to vibrate.
